Important Information Regarding New Car Prices
1. Price Increase.
Skoda UK has brought forward its annual price increase of all new cars from the 1st January to 1st November. Historically prices have typically risen by up to 3%.
2. Brexit.
Skoda have confirmed that they will honour their current consumer offers (i.e. 0% and low rate finance with deposit contributions) after 1st November, however, they cannot guarantee the retail price of a vehicle should we BREXIT without a deal and tariffs are applied to imports.
What this means if you are thinking of a new car before Christmas.
If you buy a car in October you will get the current offer & current price. If you order a car in October but it arrives after 1st November you are guaranteed the current offer and current price (price protection) subject to import tariffs being applied. If you buy a car after 1st November you pay the new increased retail price, get the current offer but may have to pay an import tariff.
